1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this dashboard ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety. If you do not agree to all terms, you must not use the Software. You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater, to use this Software.
2. Nature of the Software
neXusNerds™ is a free, client-side analytics tool. All earnings data processing occurs entirely within your web browser. The Software itself does not transmit your uploaded earnings data, license IDs, naming files, or personal financial information to any server operated by the developer. The Software has no backend, no user accounts, and no developer-operated telemetry or analytics.
However, the website on which the Software is hosted may include third-party advertising services (such as Google AdSense) and associated tracking technologies to support the ongoing development, hosting, and maintenance of this free tool. These third-party advertising services operate independently of the Software's data processing and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service. Google AdSense, when active, may collect data about your visit including but not limited to IP address, device type, browser type, pages visited, and browsing behavior, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). The developer has no access to, control over, or responsibility for data collected by Google AdSense or any other advertising network. The presence of advertising does not change the fact that your uploaded earnings and financial data is processed locally in your browser and is never sent to the developer. See Section 16 (Advertising & Sustainability) and Section 17 (Cookie Policy) for full details.
3. User Responsibility & Data Ownership
You are solely responsible for:
• The accuracy, legality, and ownership of all data you upload
• Ensuring you only upload data that belongs to you or that you have explicit authorization to use
• Any decisions made based on the dashboard's output
• Maintaining backups of your own data
You must not upload, process, or analyze data belonging to another person or entity without their express written consent. Unauthorized use of another party's data may violate applicable laws and regulations.
4. Local Configuration — Dashboard Only
All configuration changes made within the Configure page of this dashboard — including but not limited to lease names, group assignments, split percentages (%), lease expiry dates, device assignments (ISP, OS, model, connection type), cost and location fields, and lease revocations — are stored locally in your naming file only and exist solely within this dashboard.
These changes have absolutely no effect on your Unity node, your Unity account, your active lease contracts, or any other system operated by Unity or any third party. Revoking a lease in this dashboard does not revoke it on the Unity network. Changing a split percentage here does not alter any payment arrangement. Setting an expiry date here is a personal reminder only and does not trigger any action on the Unity platform.
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that any actions you intend to take on the Unity platform — such as actually revoking a lease, modifying contract terms, or changing account settings — are performed directly within Unity. The developer is not responsible for any confusion, financial loss, missed actions, or consequences arising from the difference between dashboard configuration state and actual Unity account state.
5. File Safety & Malicious Content
You should only upload files that you have personally exported from your own Unity account. Do not accept, use, or upload data files provided to you by other people, third-party websites, messaging groups, or any external source. Files from unknown or untrusted origins may be malformed, corrupted, or deliberately crafted to produce misleading results, exploit browser vulnerabilities, or cause other harm.
The developer is not responsible for any damage, data loss, security compromise, or incorrect output resulting from the use of files obtained from third parties. If you did not export the file yourself directly from Unity, do not upload it.
6. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability
The Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of calculations. The developer assumes no liability for:
• Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in calculations or visualizations
• Data loss or corruption
• Financial decisions made based on the Software's output
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Software
• Any data collected, stored, processed, or used by third-party advertising networks including Google AdSense
• Any content, products, services, or claims presented in advertisements displayed on this website
• Any damages or losses resulting from your interaction with any advertisement or advertised product or service
In no event shall the developer's total liability exceed zero dollars ($0.00). You use this Software entirely at your own risk. The developer expressly disclaims all liability for the actions, data practices, and content of third-party advertising networks including but not limited to Google AdSense.
7. Data Accuracy Disclaimer
Calculations, charts, totals, currency conversions, cryptocurrency valuations, and all other analytics produced by the Software are approximations and may contain errors due to floating-point arithmetic, rounding, data deduplication, time zone differences, stale exchange rates, volatile crypto prices, API outages, or other technical factors. The Software does not guarantee mathematical precision or data accuracy. Currency-converted amounts use approximate exchange rates that may differ significantly from actual transaction rates. Cryptocurrency valuations can change dramatically between the time prices are fetched and the time you view them. You must independently verify all figures, converted amounts, and valuations using authoritative sources before relying on them for any financial, tax, business, or legal decisions.
8. Not Financial, Investment, or Tax Advice
Nothing in this Software constitutes financial, tax, investment, legal, or professional advice of any kind. All figures, projections, analytics, cryptocurrency valuations, earnings calculations, and withdrawal data are for informational and educational purposes only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You must not make any financial, investment, tax, or business decisions based on data displayed by this Software. The Software may show incomplete data due to API limitations, archive gaps, rounding, time zone differences, or other technical factors — partial data should never be treated as a complete financial record. Always independently verify all figures using your own records and consult a qualified financial advisor, tax professional, or legal counsel before making any decisions. The developer assumes no responsibility for any losses, damages, or consequences resulting from actions taken based on the Software's output.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Software, your violation of these Terms, your uploading of data you are not authorized to use, or your use of files obtained from third parties. You further acknowledge that the developer is not liable for and shall be held harmless from any claims, complaints, or disputes arising from the display of advertisements by third-party advertising networks (including Google AdSense), the data collection practices of those networks, or your interaction with any advertisement displayed on this website. Any disputes regarding advertising content or advertising-related data collection must be directed to the respective advertising network provider, not the developer.
10. No Affiliation
neXusNerds™ is an independent, community-built tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Unity Technologies, Unity (the node network), or any related entity. All product names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
11. Third-Party Services, External Data & API Features
USE OF ALL THIRD-PARTY DATA FEATURES IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. The developer makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, or availability of any data obtained from third-party services. The developer shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, costs, or consequences whatsoever arising from your use of or reliance on third-party data displayed by this Software.
The Software connects to the following third-party APIs to provide optional features:
a) CoinGecko API (Cryptocurrency Prices) — The Software fetches live cryptocurrency market prices (e.g. ADA, BTC, ETH) from CoinGecko's free public API to display estimated crypto valuations of your earnings and withdrawal holdings. CoinGecko is an independent third-party service over which the developer has no control. Price data may be delayed, inaccurate, incomplete, or entirely unavailable at any time without notice. Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and can change dramatically within seconds. Displayed crypto valuations are rough estimates only and must not be used for trading, financial decisions, tax filings, accounting, portfolio management, or any purpose requiring accuracy. The developer is not responsible for any financial losses resulting from reliance on CoinGecko price data. CoinGecko may change, rate-limit, or discontinue their API at any time — the developer has no obligation to maintain compatibility.
b) Exchange Rate API (Currency Conversion) — The Software fetches currency exchange rates from open.er-api.com to convert your USD earnings into your selected local currency. Exchange rates provided are approximate mid-market rates, may be delayed by hours or days, and do not reflect actual bank rates, wire transfer rates, credit card rates, or any rate you would receive in a real transaction. Converted amounts are rough estimates only and must not be relied upon for tax filings, financial reporting, invoicing, accounting, legal compliance, or any official purpose whatsoever. The developer is not responsible for any losses, tax penalties, financial discrepancies, or other consequences resulting from reliance on converted currency amounts. The exchange rate provider may change, become unavailable, or provide incorrect data at any time — the developer has no obligation to maintain compatibility or verify rates.
c) No Guarantee of Availability or Accuracy — Third-party APIs may become unavailable, change their terms, modify their data format, impose rate limits, or cease to exist entirely without notice. The developer has no obligation to find alternative data sources, fix broken integrations, or notify users of changes. When third-party data is unavailable, affected features may display stale data, placeholder values, or nothing at all. You are solely responsible for independently verifying all figures, prices, exchange rates, and valuations using authoritative sources before making any decisions.
d) Privacy & Data Transmission — No personal earnings data, license IDs, naming file contents, or uploaded financial information is sent by the Software to any third-party API. Data API requests are generic and anonymous (e.g. "current price of ADA in USD" or "USD to EUR exchange rate"). However, your IP address may be visible to third-party API providers as part of standard HTTP requests. The developer has no control over how third-party services handle connection metadata.
Important: If third-party advertising services (such as Google AdSense) are present on the website, these services may independently collect certain information through cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and similar tracking technologies. This information may include your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent on page, geographic location, and browsing behavior across websites. This data collection is performed by the advertising network — not by the Software or the developer — and is governed entirely by the advertising network's own privacy policy (e.g. Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy). The developer does not have access to, control over, or responsibility for data collected by third-party advertising networks. See Section 16 for more information about advertising on this website.
e) General Third-Party Services — The Software may be hosted on or interact with third-party platforms (such as Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages) and may display cryptocurrency wallet addresses for voluntary donations. The developer is not responsible for the availability, security, policies, or conduct of any third-party service. Your use of such services is governed entirely by their own terms and policies. As the Software is entirely client-side with no backend, it may also be run locally by downloading the files and opening them directly in a web browser.
f) Advertising Networks — The website may utilize third-party advertising networks (including but not limited to Google AdSense, Google Ad Manager, or successor services) to display advertisements. These advertising networks are independent third-party services that operate under their own terms of service, privacy policies, and data collection practices. The developer does not control, endorse, or guarantee the content, accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of any advertisement displayed. Advertisements are selected and served by the advertising network based on the network's own algorithms and criteria, which may include contextual targeting, interest-based targeting, or other methods. The developer does not receive, access, or process any personal data collected by advertising networks. Any concerns regarding ad content, data collection by ad networks, or ad-related privacy matters should be directed to the respective advertising network provider.
12. Intellectual Property & Trademark
The Software's source code is provided as-is for personal and community use. You may not redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit the Software or any derivative works without the developer's written permission. The name "neXus," the name "neXusNerds - Dashboard for Unity," the NexusNerds™ name, the neXus™ name, the NexusNerds™ logo (the nerdy character image), and all associated branding, trade dress, and visual identity are proprietary marks of the developer. You may not use the NexusNerds™ name, the neXus™ name, logo, or any confusingly similar marks in derivative works, forks, competing products, marketing materials, or any context that implies endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with the developer without the developer's prior written permission. Unauthorized use of these marks may violate trademark law. Upon federal trademark registration, the ™ designation will be updated to ® where applicable.
13. Donations
Donations are entirely voluntary, non-refundable, and carry no guarantee of continued development, support, or access. Donations do not create a client-service relationship or entitle the donor to any rights, features, or obligations from the developer.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to the Software or these Terms shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of the developer's choosing.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Advertising & Sustainability
neXusNerds™ is provided free of charge to the Unity community. To support the ongoing development, maintenance, hosting, and improvement of the Software, the website may display advertisements served by third-party advertising networks, including but not limited to Google AdSense.
a) Purpose of Advertising — Advertising revenue helps offset development costs, hosting fees, domain expenses, and the significant time invested in building and maintaining this free tool. Without advertising revenue or donations, continued development and availability of the Software cannot be guaranteed.
b) Ad Content & Placement — Advertisements may appear on the upload page, within the dashboard interface, in headers, footers, sidebars, between content sections, or in other locations within the website. The developer will make reasonable efforts to place advertisements in non-disruptive locations, but ad placement may change at any time without notice. The content of advertisements is determined entirely by the third-party advertising network and is not controlled, reviewed, endorsed, or guaranteed by the developer. The developer is not responsible for any products, services, claims, or content featured in advertisements.
c) Ad Network Data Collection — Third-party advertising networks may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, device fingerprinting, local storage, and other tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activity, device characteristics, geographic location, and online behavior — both on this website and across other websites you visit. This information may be used for ad personalization, interest-based advertising, frequency capping, ad performance measurement, and analytics. This data collection is performed entirely by the advertising network and is not controlled by or accessible to the developer. By using this website, you acknowledge and consent to the data collection practices of any third-party advertising networks active on this site, as described in their respective privacy policies.
d) Your Choices — You may use browser-based ad-blocking extensions or tools to block advertisements if you choose. The developer does not prohibit or penalize the use of ad blockers. However, the developer respectfully requests that users who find the Software valuable consider allowing advertisements or making a voluntary donation to support continued development. You may also opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings, the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info), or Google's ad settings (adssettings.google.com).
e) No Impact on Core Functionality — Advertising scripts operate independently of the dashboard's core data processing functionality. Blocking advertisements will not impair the Software's ability to parse, analyze, or visualize your earnings data. Your uploaded data remains processed locally in your browser regardless of whether advertisements are displayed.
f) Changes to Advertising — The developer reserves the right to add, remove, modify, or replace advertising networks, ad placements, ad formats, or advertising-related features at any time without prior notice. The developer may also introduce premium, ad-free, or reduced-ad versions of the Software in the future, at the developer's sole discretion.
g) Disclaimer — The developer makes no representations or warranties regarding the safety, legality, accuracy, or quality of any advertised products or services. Clicking on advertisements and engaging with advertised products or services is entirely at your own risk. The developer shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from your interaction with any advertisement or advertised product or service.
17. Cookie Policy
a) Cookies Used by the Software — The Software itself uses only browser-native storage mechanisms (localStorage and sessionStorage) to store your preferences (such as theme selection and dashboard mode) locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to any server.
b) Cookies Used by Third-Party Services — Third-party services integrated into this website — including advertising networks (e.g. Google AdSense), analytics providers, and data APIs — may set their own cookies and use similar tracking technologies on your device. These cookies are governed by the respective third-party's privacy and cookie policies, not by this Terms of Service. Common third-party cookies may include:
• Advertising cookies — used to deliver relevant advertisements, limit ad frequency, and measure ad campaign effectiveness
• Analytics cookies — used to understand how visitors interact with the website
• Preference cookies — used by third parties to remember your settings across sessions

19. Google AdSense — Specific Disclosure & Developer Protection
This section provides specific disclosures regarding the use of Google AdSense on this website and expressly limits the developer's liability in connection with it.
a) Google AdSense Integration — This website may use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC (or its affiliates). Google AdSense serves advertisements based on its own algorithms, which may include contextual targeting (based on page content), interest-based targeting (based on your browsing history), demographic targeting, and other methods determined solely by Google. The developer has no control over which specific advertisements are displayed to you.
b) Google's Data Collection — By visiting this website while Google AdSense is active, Google may collect data including but not limited to: your IP address, device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time and duration of visits, geographic location, cookie identifiers, and behavioral data across websites that use Google advertising services. The developer has no access to, control over, or responsibility for this data collection.

The developer does not receive, view, store, or process any personally identifiable information collected by Google AdSense in connection with your visit.
d) No Developer Liability for Google AdSense — The developer expressly disclaims all liability for: (i) any data collected, stored, or processed by Google AdSense; (ii) the content, accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of any advertisement served by Google AdSense; (iii) any products, services, or representations made in Google AdSense advertisements; (iv) any privacy violations, data breaches, or unauthorized data use by Google or its advertising partners; (v) any harm, loss, or damage arising from your interaction with Google AdSense advertisements or Google's data practices. Google AdSense operates entirely under Google's own terms and policies, and any complaints, disputes, or concerns regarding Google AdSense must be directed to Google directly.
e) EU/EEA & GDPR Compliance — If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, Google AdSense may present a consent mechanism for personalized advertising. The developer relies on Google's Funding Choices or equivalent mechanisms to obtain and manage consent as required. The developer is not responsible for ensuring Google's compliance with applicable data protection laws, as this is governed by Google's own data processing terms and privacy policies.
f) California & CCPA — If you are a California resident, Google's data collection through AdSense may be subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Any rights requests related to data collected by Google AdSense (including requests to know, delete, or opt out of sale) must be submitted directly to Google. The developer does not have access to or control over the personal information collected by Google AdSense and therefore cannot fulfill such requests on Google's behalf.
g) Opting Out — You may opt out of personalized Google advertising at any time by visiting Google's Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com), using the NAI opt-out tool (optout.networkadvertising.org), or installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You may also block all advertisements using browser extensions. The developer does not restrict or penalize use of ad-blocking tools.
